Marix Servicing Delivers a Ton of Holiday Cheer
Monday, December 28, 2009

The holiday food drive spearheaded by the Marix Servicing Employee Council netted 2075 pounds of food for Arizona's needy.

The non-perishable donations for the St Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix were raised in two weeks of competition between Marix Servicing's departments.  The top two teams were awarded money for pizza parties.  Both groups chose instead to donate their winnings to the family the company "adopted" through the Phoenix Children's Project.

"We are so proud of our employee's giving spirit at this very difficult time in our history," said Employee Council President Heather Wilson.  "For a company of just over 100 employees to raise more than a ton of food to help our neighbors  proves to me once again that I work with an amazing group of people."
